We recommend both rated and non-rated bonds. All non-rated bonds are evaluated, studied and approved by our research department. These issues are reviewed on a regular basis. Those non-rated bonds meeting our minimum standards are designated Bernardi A* Approved. Rated bonds are approved if they are rated “A” or better by Moody’s or Standard & Poor rating services.
