Investment Specialist

Bernardi Securities, Inc. offers registered representatives a bond friendly environment to service their customers seeking fixed income expertise. We offer access to choice new issue municipal bonds, active secondary market traders, online account access, and a variety of specialized products and services.

Qualified candidates should hold a Series 7 & Series 63 license and have 3-5 years experience in the fixed income sector.

Financial Analyst—Municipal Credit
Department Head

Bernardi Securities, Inc., a leading underwriter of Midwestern municipal bonds and manager of fixed-income portfolios, is seeking highly qualified individual to serve as Department Head for the Municipal Credit Department.

Responsibilities Include:

Gathering and compiling financial data from multiple sources

Analyzing municipal data using industry standard and proprietary methods

Preparing municipal credit reports

Managing department database (MS Access)

Tracking internal designation ratings

Prioritizing department duties

Supervising and training of department staff

Qualifications Include:

Minimum of BA/BS in business, finance, or related subjects

Minimum of 3-5 years experience analyzing municipal bonds (tax-free and taxable)

Strong analytical and communication skills

Proficiency with MS Excel and Access

Ser. 53 and 63 a plus
