Financial Analyst—Municipal Credit

Department Head

Bernardi Securities, Inc., a leading underwriter of municipal bonds and manager of fixed-income portfolios, is seeking highly qualified individual to serve as Department Head for the Municipal Credit Department.

Responsibilities Include:

· Gathering and compiling financial data from multiple sources
· Analyzing municipal data using industry standard and proprietary methods
· Preparing municipal credit reports
· Managing department database (MS Access)
· Tracking internal designation ratings
· Prioritizing department duties
· Supervising and training of department staff

Qualifications Include:

· Minimum of BA/BS in business, finance, or related subjects
· Minimum of 3-5 years experience analyzing municipal bonds (tax-free and taxable)
· Strong analytical and communication skills
· Proficiency with MS Excel and Access
· Ser. 53 and 63 a plus
